Sakshi Doda

Sakshi Doda, the founder of SD Legal, is a dual licensed lawyer in Alberta and India. Sakshi was called to the Bar in India in 2017 and practiced in the Indian Courts for four years gaining experience in intellectual property, banking, civil, criminal and matrimonial laws. Sakshi worked in the chambers of designated senior advocates and independently appeared before the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Supreme Court of India.

Sakshi also advised, created, managed and protected the Intellectual Property portfolio of one of the top aerated beverage manufacturing companies in India.

In October 2022, Sakshi moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to further her professional career and gain international experience. Sakshi began working as a paralegal with a reputed boutique law firm in Calgary. After four months of working as a paralegal, Sakshi joined the same law firm as an articling student, gaining experience in personal injury, taxation, employment, real estate and family law.

Sakshi regularly appeared before the Court of King’s Bench, Calgary, Alberta, in miscellaneous contested and non-contested applications during her articles.
