Sakshi Doda

Sakshi Doda, the founder of SD Legal, is a dual licensed lawyer in Alberta and India. Sakshi was called to the Bar in India in the year 2017 and practiced in the Indian Courts for four years gaining experience in Intellectual Property, Banking, Civil, Criminal and Matrimonial laws. Sakshi worked in the chambers of designated senior advocates and independently appeared before the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Supreme Court of India.

In October 2022, Sakshi moved to Calgary to further her professional career and gain a global outlook. Sakshi began working as a paralegal with a reputed boutique law firm in Calgary for about four months after which Sakshi joined the firm as an articling student, gaining experience in Personal Injury, Taxation, Employment, Real Estate, Family law and civil litigation.

During her articling, Sakshi regularly appeared before the Court of King’s Bench, Calgary, Alberta for miscellaneous contested and non-contested applications.
